Hind Ksiouar es una joven marroquí, originaria de la ciudad de Fez, se dedica al rubro automotriz y es estudiante de derecho, una gran líder que se destaca por su participación en algunas organizaciones de las que nos contará un poco más, además es Miembro del consejo nacional de la Juventud Ittihadiya, pasemos a la entrevista.

La entrevista

1. Bienvenida Hind muchas gracias por responder a nuestras preguntas. Primero nos gustaría saber un poco más sobre tu vida: ¿De dónde eres en Marruecos? ¿Cómo es tu ciudad?

Soy de Fez, que está en el interior de Marruecos. Fez es considerada la ciudad espiritual y cultural de Marruecos. La ciudad es una fusión entre el pasado y el presente de Marruecos, aparte del centro de la ciudad, que es como cualquier ciudad marroquí moderna, su Medina está catalogada como Patrimonio de la Humanidad y la zona peatonal   más antigua, también contiene la Universidad de Al-Qarawiyyin, que fue fundada en 875 y es considerada por algunos de los institutos de educación superior más antiguos que funcionan continuamente.   en el mundo, junto con una de las  curtidurías más antiguas del mundo que fue fundada en el siglo 11.

2. ¿Cómo y cuándo nació tu pasión por la política? ¿Por qué elegiste Ittihadiya Youth?

Al crecer, siempre me fascinó la política, la USFP es parte de la historia de Marruecos, y representa la libertad es el equivalente de la liberación, la dignidad del socialismo y la democracia de la igualdad. así que cuando elegí ser políticamente activa, mi elección del partido para unirme fue obvia.

La Juventud Ittihadiya, es una organización que me permitió tener más conocimiento sobre los procesos políticos en mi país y cómo hacer oír mi voz como ciudadana. Como sector del partido ha sido y seguirá siendo la ventana del partido a la juventud marroquí y la escuela efectiva para la formación de los líderes usfpeistas del futuro.

3. Sabemos que recientemente tuvo un congreso. ¿Puede contarnos cuáles son las decisiones más importantes y cómo ha sido la experiencia del congreso?

La Juventud Ittihadiya ha elegido colocar su 9º Congreso Nacional del 27 al 29 de septiembre de 2022 bajo el lema “Dignidad, Libertad, Igualdad”. Este es un eslogan que resume las opciones socialdemócratas modernistas, en el sentido de claridad ideológica encarnada en la defensa de los reclamos legítimos de la juventud, las mujeres, los medios y los desfavorecidos. La sesión inaugural, que fue presidida por el Primer secretario y Driss Lachguar y se distinguió por la presencia de delegaciones de organizaciones juveniles internacionales, amigos políticos y civiles.

El Congreso de la Juventud Ittihadiya fue un ejercicio organizativo, político, intelectual y axiológico, donde los jóvenes del partido pudieron abordar varios temas y cuestiones que afectan a la juventud. Por una parte, las intervenciones de dichas delegaciones expresaron su orgullo por la fuerte relación que las une a la Juventud Ittihadiya. Rindiendo homenaje a todos los esfuerzos realizados por Marruecos para preservar su integridad territorial y cuyos resultados se materializan día a día, la multiplicación del reconocimiento internacional de la Soberanía de Marruecos sobre su Sahara que demuestra que la única manera de resolver el conflicto artificial está en la solución política propuesta por Marruecos en coherencia con las disposiciones de la legalidad internacional. Por otra parte, la avanzada situación que caracteriza ahora la presencia de la mujer en la vida pública marroquí no es fruto del azar, ni de la consecuencia fatal de varios cambios que ocurren solo en Marruecos. Pero, es el resultado de un curso de militancia notado donde los militantes ittihadies al lado de las mujeres marroquíes que creen en la libertad tuvieron un papel esencial allí.  Lo que nos  llevó en este Congreso a establecer la paridad total  en las instancias de la Jabiba Ittihadia.

4. También participa en MENA Latina. ¿Puede decirnos de qué se trata, cuáles han sido sus últimas reuniones y qué viene para el futuro?

La red MENA LATINA fue fundada en Marruecos del 6 al 11 de noviembre de 2021 por jóvenes de partidos políticos democráticos progresistas, reuniendo a organizaciones de América Latina y el mundo árabe. La organización de la red MENA LATINA  fue fundada con el objetivo de generar espacios de cooperación y  comunicación entre estas dos regiones para fortalecer lazos y unir causas  comunes.  Del 21 al 26 de marzo de 2022, en presencia de 40 representantes de organizaciones de las regiones de América Latina y el mundo árabe, celebramos la tercera reunión, esta vez en Marrakech y Ouarzazate, bajo el lema “cambio climático: nuevas generaciones con nuevas ideas”.

El propósito de esta reunión es discutir los desafíos climáticos que enfrentan estas regiones y encontrar el mejor camino a seguir para las generaciones futuras. Continuamos trabajando en nuestra agenda que incluye ampliar la red para incluir más organizaciones de las regiones de América Latina y el mundo árabe, y por supuesto, nos verán pronto con algunas actividades nuevas.

5. Teniendo en cuenta la crisis económica mundial, ¿cómo ha afectado a Marruecos y cómo se ve el futuro del país?

Marruecos se ve afectado por la crisis económica mundial como lo sería cualquier país. El gobierno marroquí está haciendo todo lo posible para mantener las tasas de inflación a mano, el USFP como partido nacionalista, y aunque estamos en la oposición, estamos uniendo fuerzas para encontrar soluciones y enfrentar la situación.  Marruecos está fomentando las  inversiones, especialmente para  las industrias verdes y ecológicas, lo que  es vital para Marruecos, ya que estamos muy afectados por el  cambio climático.

6. Estuvimos juntos compartiendo en Tangier y otras ciudades, me sorprendió la diversidad de los paisajes. ¿Qué podría decir a nuestros lectores sobre Marruecos y su gente?

La geografía de Marruecos se extiende desde el Océano Atlántico, a las zonas montañosas, al Mar Mediterráneo, al desierto del Sahara, amplia gama de biodiversidad. Además, los marroquíes son personas realmente acogedoras y hospitalarias. Debido a su historia, Marruecos tiene una  cultura muy diversa.  Cada región posee su propia singularidad, contribuyendo a la cultura nacional. Marruecos ha establecido  entre sus principales prioridades la  protección  de su  diversidad y la preservación de su patrimonio cultural. Estoy seguro de que las palabras no pueden describir las emociones que sentimos cuando visitamos Marruecos, ¿verdad?  🙂

7. Para despedirnos, ¿qué mensaje le gustaría dar a nuestros amigos de América Latina y especialmente de Chile que leen La Gaceta Radical?

La Juventud Ittihadiya siempre ha sido y siempre estará dispuesta colaborar y comunicarse con las organizaciones latinoamericanas, especialmente de Chile, estoy segura de que tenemos muchas causas comunes en los que podemos trabajar juntos.

1. Welcome Hind thank you very much for answering our questions. First we would like to know a little more about your life: Where in Morocco are you from? How is your city?

I am from Fez, which is in the inland of Morocco. Fez is considered the spiritual and cultural city of Morocco. The city is a merge between the past and the present of Morocco, aside from the city center, which is like any modern Moroccan city, its Medina is listed as a World Heritage site and the oldest pedestrian zone, it also contains the University of Al-Qarawiyyin which was founded in 875 and is considered by some of the oldest continuously functioning institute of higher education in the world, along with one of the oldest tanneries in the world which was founded in the 11th century.

2. How and when was your passion for politics born? why did you choose Ittihadiya Youth?

Growing up I was always fascinated by politics, the USFP is a part of the history of Morocco, and it stands for freedom is the equivalent of liberation, dignity of socialism and democracy of equality, so when I chose to be politically active, my choice of the parti to join was obvious. The Ittihadiya Youth, is an organization that allowed me to have more knowledge about the political processes in my country and how to make my voice heard as a citizen. As a sector of the party has been and will remain the party’s window on the Moroccan Youth and the effective school for the formation of the usfpeist leaders of the future.

3. We know that you recently had a congress. Can you tell us about the most important decisions and how the experience of the congress has been?

The Ittihadiya Youth has chosen to place its 9th National Congress from September 27 to 29, 2022 under the motto “Dignity, Freedom, Equality”. This is a slogan that summarizes the modernist social democratic choices, in the sense of ideological clarity embodied in the defense of the legitimate claims of youth, women, middle and underprivileged classes. The opening session, which was chaired by the First Secretary Driss Lachguar and was distinguished by the presence of international youth organizations’ delegations, political, and civil friends.

The Congress of the Ittihadiya Youth was an organizational, political, intellectual and axiological exercise, where the youth of the party were able to tackle several topics and issues affecting the youth of the country. From one part, The interventions of the said delegations expressed their pride in the strong relationship that binds them to the Ittihadiya Youth. Paying tribute to all the efforts made by Morocco to preserve its territorial integrity and whose results are materialized day by, the multiplication of the international recognition of the Sovereignty of Morocco over its Sahara which demonstrates that the only way to resolve the artificial conflict is in the political solution proposed by Morocco in coherence with the provisions of international legality. From another, The advanced situation that now characterizes the presence of women in Moroccan public life is not the fruit of chance, nor the fatal consequence of several changes that occur only in Morocco. But, it is the result of a course of militancy noticed where the ittihadies militants at the sides of the Moroccan women who believe in the freedom had an essential role there.  What led us in this Congress to set up the total parity in the instances of the Chabiba Ittihadia.

4. Also participate in MENA Latina. Can you tell what it is about, what your last meetings have been, and what is coming for the future?

The MENA LATINA network was founded in Morocco from November 6 to 11, 2021 by the youth of progressive democratic political parties, bringing together organizations from Latin America and the Arab world. The MENA LATINA network organization was founded with the aim of generating spaces for cooperation and communication between these two regions to strengthen ties and unite common causes. From 21 to 26 March 2022 in the presence of 40 representatives of organizations from the Latin American and Arab world regions, we held the third meeting, this time in Marrakech and Ouarzazate under the slogan “climate change: new generations with new ideas”. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the climate challenges that these regions face, and to find the best trajectory to follow for future generations. We are continuing to work on our agenda that includes widening the network to include more organizations from the Latin America and Arab world regions, and of course, you will see us soon with some new activities.

5. Taking into account the global economic crisis, how has this affected Morocco and what does the future of the country look like?

Morocco is affected by the global economic crisis like any country would be. The Moroccan government is doing its best to keep the inflation rates at hand, the USFP as a nationalist party, and even though we are in the opposition, we are joining forces to find solutions and face the situation. Morocco is encouraging investments, especially for green and eco-friendly industries, which is vital for Morocco since we are harshly affected by the climate change.

6. We were together sharing in Tangier and other cities, I was surprised by the diversity of the landscapes. What could you tell our readers about Morocco and its people?

The geography of Morocco spans from the Atlantic Ocean, to mountainous areas, to Mediterranean Sea, to the Sahara desert, wide range of biodiversity. Furthermore, Moroccans are really welcoming and hospitable people. Due to its history, morocco has a very diversified culture. Each region possesses its own uniqueness, contributing to the national culture. Morocco has set among its top priorities the protection of its diversity and the preservation of its cultural heritage. I am sure that words cannot describe the emotions we feel when we visit Morocco, right Esteban ? 🙂

7. To say goodbye, what message would you like to give to our friends from Latin America and especially from Chile who read La Gaceta Radical.

The Ittihadiya Youth has always and will always be open to collaborate and communicate with the Latin American organizations, especially from Chile, I am sure that we have lots of common causes on which we can work on together.
